The Fine Arts Night at Byram Hills was created for all the incoming highschoolers to view all the art classes available to them when they become freshmen. After taking many film classes at Byram Hills, I had the opportunity to represent our information station on the new film classes we offer at our school. Film classes include Film Media 1, Film Media 2, Film Workshop/ Film 100: Introduction or Film 130: Digitial Storytelling. To attract the incoming current 8th graders and their parents, we set up a live green screen and chroma key output connected to a tv monitor. We thought it would be a unique idea to have people walk through the green screen and see themselves in the monitor behind some of their favorite movie scenes, such as The Breakfast Club ending, Toy Story, or even the E.T. scene with all the stuffed animals.
